Course Overview

Join our immersive 2-day SketchUp Pro course and build a strong foundation in 3D drawing and design. Gain hands-on experience with essential tools, shortcuts, object manipulation, drawing organization, materials and textures, visualization styles, and basic animation techniques.

Expected Outcome

Interpret SketchUp technical drawings according to briefs in relations to symbols, standards and conventions within one’s field and region.

Create part lists for new design to facilitate technical drawing based on the types of technical drawing using SketchUp.

Apply the concepts of information technology (IT) to facilitate the usage of technical drawing software to produce drawings and specifications that conform to the requirements of relevant standards for submission.

Apply the different methods of technical drawing by instruments and computer-aided design (CAD) systems to produce 2D and 3D technical drawings and specifications based on input from stakeholders.

Apply the fundamentals of drafting design documentation to oversee the development and construction of new designs’ prototypes in collaboration with organisation’s production function
